Fellows Program
What is the ALF Fellows program?
The ALF-MVC First-Year Fellows Program brings together a diverse group of leaders from across sectors, backgrounds, and perspectives to explore what it means to lead in service of the community.
Over the course of the year, Fellows build meaningful relationships, engage in challenging conversations, explore new approaches to leadership, and develop the capacity to navigate complexity and create positive change.
The experience is intentionally designed around the belief that leadership grows through relationship, reflection, dialogue, and action.
An essential part of learning emerges as a result of the diversity of the group. While there is content in support of each of the pillars, the real learning is found as Fellows explore each of the pillars and apply them in their life. In this way, each class has a unique learning journey that comes from how the class engages and participates in building a learning community.
