ALF-MVC Network Use PolicyThe American Leadership Forum Mountain Valley Chapter is proud of our members and their commitment to our mission: to Unite, Strengthen, and Serve. While there is good intention behind the efforts to reach out and network, we ask that members do not abuse communication channels and respect each other’s privacy. The following is meant as a guideline to appropriately utilize our network:
- Mass solicitation of ALF members for partisan lobbying, business advocacy, or nonprofit fundraising is prohibited. Solicitation for personal gain is prohibited. Exceptions may include:
(a) Facebook – members may post items of interest
on the ALF Facebook page;
(b) ALF Newsletter – member may submit information about
third party activities and events inclusion in the newsletter.
- The privacy of Senior Fellows is to be protected. No use of the Directory may allow Senior Fellow’s address, phone number, internet address, etc to be acquired by a non-Fellow.
- To protect ALF members from the inundation of third-party activities and event notices, the All-ALF listserv is reserved for chapter business only and can only be accessed by ALF staff.
Directory Distribution & Information Updating
Each year, the current ALF-MVC Directory is printed and automatically mailed to those Senior Fellows who contribute their annual Sr. Fellows’ Dues at the $100 level and above. Dues notices are sent to all Sr. Fellows in December.
While we do our best to keep track of our growing network of Senior Fellows, we rely largely on individual ALF members to keep us updated. While ALF-MVC makes an effort to keep our records current be requesting contact updates, we do not hear back from everyone. Thus, some information contained in this directory will be missing or outdated. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and ask that everyone respond to such requests to ensure the most comprehensive and up-to-date database.
