The Communications & Events Specialist will manage communications projects, membership services, and events in service of ALF’s nonprofit mission. The Communications & Events Specialist reports directly to the Chief Operations Officer and Chief Executive Officer when needed.
The Communications & Events Specialist manages day-to-day activities of the chapter to effectively serve its members and keep the ALF network informed of the organization’s advances. The Communications & Events Specialist plans and executes a variety of activities that integrate ALF’s administrative and programmatic systems, including membership customer service and communications, campaign management, content development, complex administrative support, and planning meetings and events.
The Communications & Events Specialist has a demonstrated ability to interact with diverse audiences and community leaders at various levels with professionalism and sensitivity in all relationships. The Communications & Events Specialist communicates and collaborates successfully with staff, Fellows, board members, and the public, and provides direct support to the Chief Executive Officer.
